Husband charged in fatal auto crash

Arkansas State Law enforcement arrested a Cleveland County male on Thursday in relationship with a January crash that killed his wife, according to a news launch.

Law enforcement mentioned Stephen Clark, 60, of the Woodlawn local community in Cleveland County has been charged with negligent homicide.

In accordance to the news release, Clark was driving north on U.S. 63 all over 9:45 a.m. on January 2. He misplaced management of the motor vehicle and drove off the street, hitting a fence and a tree, authorities mentioned.

Clark’s spouse, Mary Clark, 60, was a passenger who died at the scene, the news release said. Clark was taken to a Pine Bluff medical center to be addressed for his accidents.

An Arkansas Point out trooper investigated and decided Clark was driving much too rapid and was considered to have been intoxicated, according to the news release.

Clark surrendered to authorities at the Cleveland County sheriff’s office. His bail is set at $15,000, authorities said.
