HOUSTON — A rollover crash involving a single car sparked a car fireplace that spread to a warehouse, in accordance to the Houston Hearth Division.
The fireplace started out a little before 10 p.m. Monday at a warehouse on Mitchelldale Street in northwest Houston.
Fireplace officers say they ended up to begin with responding to the one-vehicle crash, but when they arrived, the automobile was engulfed in flames.
The motor vehicle was so near to the setting up that it then spread to a warehouse comprehensive of Styrofoam and development supplies.
Hearth crews say the driver of the car was capable to get herself out of the vehicle. She was taken to the clinic as a precaution and no update on her condition or any injuries is out there at this time.
No hazardous materials ended up detected in the smoke or runoff by hazmat crews. Officers didn’t say what induced the crash.
