BREAKING NEWS UPDATE: White City woman died in Brookings Harbor auto-pedestrian crash | News

BROOKINGS, Ore. — NewsWatch 12 has affirmation tonight that an afternoon incident at Brookings Harbor claimed the daily life of a White Town lady.

The Curry County Sheriff’s Place of work is investigating the incident at the port at Brookings Harbor, reportedly involving 3 men and women being strike by a vehicle.  A Curry County official states the crash killed 1 human being, sent a different to the hospital, and introduced Oregon Condition Law enforcement into the investigation.

Tonight, Curry County Sheriff John Ward suggests 38-yr-aged Hiedei Bailey of White Metropolis died from her accidents noting, “It was also documented that Bailey’s sister was doing CPR on her and it was also noted that Bailey’s eleven-yr-old daughter was actively playing on the seaside at the time.”  46-year-aged Rebecca Williams of White Town also is listed as an wounded pedestrian from the crash.  He says Bailey’s and Williams’ autos had been parked subsequent to each other and both equally had been struck leading to significant problems to both of those cars prior to putting the ladies.

Ward suggests his deputies contacted 66-calendar year-aged Paul Armenta of Brookings as the guy who was driving a massive Econo Van that had drove into the crowd of folks as, “Witnesses explained they had seen the man or woman driving and it appeared he was handed out powering the wheel.”

Ward claims the other target stuck by Armenta was determined as 79-12 months-aged Doris Dianne Bever from Discovery Bay, California.

The Curry County Sheriff’s Office environment (CCSO) claims, “Armenta, Bever and Bailey were being taken by ambulance to Brookings ER where Bailey was pronounced deceased.  Armenta and Bever ended up stabilized and Bever was predicted to be medically produced.  Williams experienced been transported by ambulance to Sutter Coastline Clinic and the previous information we had was she was being flown out to a better care medical center at an mysterious place.”

CCSO claims Armenta’s motor vehicle also wrecked two RVs, 1 with two little children inside which experienced been moved about fifteen feet while, “The two young children were being uninjured.”

Curry County Deputies and an Oregon Condition Trooper processed the scene.  The Curry County District Attorney was notified.  CCSO says it will keep on the investigation and expressed “deepest condolences to the family members and pals of Hiedei Bailey.”
