Solar Punch in Concert with Remo Fernandes

Remo and Solar Punch, Goa by alexisevaringwaldIn the humming city centre that is Panjim, 22nd January 2009, an improvisational concert took place between one of Goa's most legendary musicians, Remo Fernandes, and our solar powered musicians, Solar Punch.

The concert included renditions of Lagaan and Yunhi Chela Chela, put together by Solar Punch and improvised upon by Remo Fernandes. The bridging of cultures, messages and intentions that took place through this medium of music on this starlit evening was beautiful to see.With Remo, Goa by alexisevaringwald

In itself, embodied in the universal language of music, was the message of cross cultural collaboration and creativity. As we head towards the global meeting this December in Copenhagen, such a beautiful display of what can be created through positive collaboration across was inspiring.
